Privacy policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
This policy explains what Luxury Frontiers collects, why, who it is shared with and how long it is kept. It covers the Luxury Frontiers platform at app.luxury-frontiers.com and the Luxury Frontiers Capture Chrome extension, which saves what you capture into that same account.
Who we are
Luxury Frontiers is the controller of the personal data described here. The platform is a private workspace for our design and procurement teams and their clients — accounts are issued by an administrator, not opened by the public.
Questions, requests and complaints: Source-supply@luxury-frontiers.com.
What we collect
Account data
- Your name, work email address, role and profile photo.
- Authentication data: a session cookie, and — if you sign in with Microsoft — the identifier and email returned by Microsoft. We never see your Microsoft password.
- The work you create in the platform: projects, budgets, suppliers, purchase orders, documents, messages and comments.
Data the Chrome extension collects
The extension only reads a page when you ask it to — by opening its side panel on that page, or by right-clicking an image or a text selection. What it then sends to your account is:
- Product details published on the page (name, description, price and currency, SKU, specifications, images), taken from the page's own JSON-LD, microdata, Open Graph or visible markup.
- Images you choose to save to a mood board.
- Text you have selected and chosen to save as a reference.
- The address (URL) and title of the page you captured from.
- The notes you add and the project, category, supplier or mood board you file the capture under.
What the extension does not collect
- Your browsing history, or any page you did not capture from.
- Keystrokes, form entries, passwords or payment details.
- Your location.
- Anything for advertising, analytics, profiling or creditworthiness. The extension contains no advertising or third-party tracking code.
Data kept on your own device
The extension uses Chrome's local storage for working state only: which server it is pointed at, a capture you started but have not saved, the mapping panel's context, and whether the side panel is open. This never leaves your computer, and Chrome deletes it when you remove the extension.
What the extension's permissions are for
Chrome asks you to grant these when you install Luxury Frontiers Capture. Each one exists to make capture work, and nothing more:
- activeTab and scripting — read the product details on the page you are capturing from, at the moment you ask for it.
- contextMenus — add the right-click entries for saving an image or a text selection.
- storage — keep an unsaved capture and your chosen server address on your own device.
- sidePanel — show the capture panel beside the page.
- tabs — know which page you are capturing from.
- Access to websites you visit — captures come from any supplier or retailer site, so we cannot list the sites in advance. The extension still only reads a page when you capture from it.
How we use it
- To run the platform: sign you in and show you your work.
- To store what you capture in your knowledge base, mood boards and projects, and to make it searchable for your team.
- To operate the optional AI assistant when you use it (see below).
- To keep the service secure, debug faults and prevent abuse.
- To meet our legal and contractual obligations.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to build profiles of you or of the sites you visit.
The AI assistant
When — and only when — you send a message to the assistant, your message and the page content you captured are passed through app.luxury-frontiers.com to our agent service, which sends them to a large-language-model provider (OpenAI, Anthropic or Google) so that a reply can be generated. The content is sent to answer your request and for no other purpose. If you do not use the assistant, nothing is sent to these providers.
How we protect it
All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS, and data is encrypted at rest. Access is restricted by role, and the database enforces row-level security so an account can only read the records it is entitled to. Extension requests are authenticated with your existing platform session — the extension never stores your password.
How long we keep it
Captures and project records stay in your account until you or your administrator delete them. Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. When an account is closed we delete or anonymise its personal data, except where we must keep records (for example financial records) to satisfy a legal obligation.
Your rights
Subject to local law, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, export it, or restrict or object to how we use it. Write to Source-supply@luxury-frontiers.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or the EEA you may also complain to your data protection authority. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
You can remove the extension at any time from Chrome's Extensions page; this deletes everything it kept on your device. Captures already saved to your account are deleted from within the platform, or by asking us.
Children
The platform is a workplace tool. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Chrome Web Store limited use
Luxury Frontiers Capture's use of information received from Google APIs, and of any data obtained through the extension, adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data handled by the extension is used only to provide and improve the capture features you have asked for; it is never sold, never transferred for advertising, creditworthiness or lending, never used to train generalised models, and is only read by a person where you have asked us to, where it is needed for security or to comply with the law, or where the data is aggregated and de-identified.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the platform.
